He was assigned the duties of cannoneer, which he performed throughout our service.
The boys will remember him at Camp Coetquidan as being fond of arguing on different subjects with Felshaw, Post and Barnhouse.
He was an efficient soldier and was one of the fifty-seven men who constituted the Heavy Infantry. |
